Many of you will have read my articles in newspapers across Totnes & South Devon and will therefore know how passionate I am about digital connectivity.
The South West is lagging behind in digital connectivity across the board and since being elected I have been working with South West colleagues, Connecting Devon and Somerset, mobile and broadband providers.
The Government have promised a great deal in terms of digital connectivity and Devon MPs must work together to ensure that the county is not forgotten.
To date I have:
- Held meetings with major stakeholders
- Taken part in regular meetings with South West MPs
- Had regular meetings with Connecting Devon and Somerset
- Created a brief on the lack of mobile signal in Totnes and South Devon to share with Ministers
- Asked Oral and Written Parliamentary Questions on digital connectivity
