Anthony Mangnall MP speaks in Armed Forces Bill

Wednesday, 10 February, 2021

Earlier this week, Anthony spoke in the Armed Forces Bill when it was discussed in the House of Commons.

Anthony says "I come from a military family and I understand well the need to be able to support our service men and women and our veterans throughout their lives. This bill not only updates the Armed Forces Act 2006, but also enhances the service justice system and integrates the Armed Forces Covenant.

The bill will make a huge difference to those in our armed forces seeking education, healthcare and employment. If it is the first many steps we are taking to support those who put their lives on the line to keep us safe.

With Britannia Royal Naval College here in South Devon, we have a long and proud history of service men and women and veterans living in the area and I look forward to continuing to support them and their families."
