Yesterday Anthony spoke in a House of Commons debate on the subject of international aid, followed by a vote on whether the UK would cut its spending on Official Development Assistance from 0.7% to 0.5% of Gross National Income.

When it came to the vote, Anthony was a teller for the Noes meaning he was counted as voting against the Government.
The Ayes won by 34 votes, with Chancellor Rishi Sunak promising that the 0.7% will be restored when the public finances are healthy again.
