The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta showcases the best of the town and celebrates life on the River Dart, with rowing and sailing races as well as land-based activities.
Anthony attended the opening ceremony of the 176th Dartmouth Regatta earlier this week, then returned to experience the event in action.
A fantastic morning at the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta!
Not only did I get out on the water and cheer on local rowing crews, but I was also able to catch up with the Royal Navy and British Army recruitment teams.
Thanks to Capt. Geoff Holland and Rob Everitt, Harbour Master and Deputy Harbour Master of Dart Harbour, for taking me out on the water.
Dartmouth Regatta only takes place thanks to the work of hundreds of volunteers. Their work has pulled off this year's event and helped to raise morale after a very difficult fifteen months.
Thank you to all those who have worked so hard to make it what it is!
Lastly, great to see Dot and meet Bob the Cock!
