About 60% of Devon residents aged 16 and over have already had a first dose, thanks to the efficient work of the NHS.
Those who are currently eligible to receive the Covid-19 vaccine are being urged to book their appointment as soon as possible. This includes everyone aged 50 and above and people with underlying health conditions as well as health and care workers. Appointments at mass-vaccination centres and pharmacy sites can be booked online or by calling 119, or people can respond to an invitation from their GP for an appointment at a GP-led centre.
No further first dose appointments will be made available on the National Booking Service from 1 – 30 April, but existing appointments will remain in place and should be attended as planned.
