After three long months, many local businesses will be able to reopen today, albeit with some limitations, as we move into the next stage of the Covid lockdown roadmap.
Outdoor hospitality and attractions, non-essential shops, indoor leisure facilities such as gyms and spas, and personal care premises such as hairdressers are all able to open their doors from today. Overnight stays in self-contained accommodation are also permitted, meaning that self-catering cottages and campsites across South Devon are able to welcome guests once again.
Many restrictions do still remain in place including gatherings being limited to six people or two households outdoors, so please do ensure you know the rules: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/covid-19-coronavirus-restrictions-what-you-…
"I look forward to seeing local businesses reopen and hope residents support our high streets to ensure they recover quickly and thrive in the future."
