Anthony Mangnall and Inspector Brugge

Anthony visited Brixham yesterday, meeting Inspector Brugge from Devon and Cornwall Police to discuss local policing needs and hear how the force is preparing for the busy tourist season ahead.

Devon and Cornwall Police plans to recruit 232 frontline staff in the next year, marrying a traditional neighbourhood policing approach with significant investment in modern technology.

Anthony said "I was pleased to hear the Inspector’s thoughts on these matters, and I will continue to engage with local police and work alongside the Police and Crime Commissioner."
