Celebrations are taking place around Totnes and South Devon to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee over the special extended bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June 2022.

Brixham
Wednesday 1st June: Brixham Library exhibition opens, public launch of Jubilee celebrations at Brixham Yacht Club, 1950s quiz at Brixham Yacht Club.
Thursday 2nd June: Coronation breakfast in The Vigilance Pub, music and dance performances in Brixham Town Square, 1950s choir concert in Methodist Church, 1950s vintage films in Brixham Yacht Club, and lighting of Brixham Beacon at Shoalstone Pool Green.
Friday 3rd June: Brixham Community Parade through town, events in Town Square including public service of thanksgiving, community singalong and dance and fashion shows, vintage films at Brixham Yacht Club and choir concert in Methodist Church.
Saturday 4th June: All day activities in Fore Street and Shoalstone Pool and Green, 1950s music in Town Square, vintage films at Brixham Yacht Club and 1950s dance in Scala Hall.
Sunday 5th June: All day activities in Fore Street, vintage vehicles in Town Square, vintage films at Brixham Yacht Club, Tea Dance in Scala Hall, commemorative planting in North View Road Gardens, results of Brixham Lottery draw announced, Thanksgiving ceremony at All Saints Church.
Play Torbay is also holding its Jubilee Party in Brixham on Saturday 4th June from 11am - 4pm. Activities for families include a theatre/circus show, live music, willow crown crafting, a water slide, lunch and more.
Churchstow
Sunday 5th June: Village street party, music performances, cake competition, pig racing and fancy dress competition.
Dartington Trust
Thursday 2nd June: Family Theatre on the Great Lawn, an evening Celeidh Concert in the Great Hall, cream Tea and live jazz in the private garden.
Friday 3rd June: All day party on the Great Lawn with live music and family fun, gin making in the summerhouse, and a film screening on Queen Elizabeth II at the Barn Cinema.
Saturday 4th June: All day party on the Great Lawn with live music and family fun, comedy in the private garden, gin making in the summerhouse, and a film screening on Queen Elizabeth II at the Barn Cinema.
Dartmouth
Thursday 2nd June: Opening Ceremony on the Bandstand and a torchlit procession around the town.
Friday 3rd June: Music and entertainment in Jubilee Gardens, choir service on the Bandstand and a cruise on a Paddle Steamer.
Saturday 4th June: Music and entertainment in Jubilee Gardens, a black tie event in the Guildhall, a live screening at The Flavel of the Platinum Party at the Palace, and an evening of festivities at Britannia Royal Naval College.
Sunday 5th June: The Big Jubilee Picnic on Coronation Park and music and entertainment in Royal Avenue Gardens.
As well as the events above, there will be a Jubilee Arts Fair in the Flavel on Thursday and Friday, a market in the Market Square on Friday and Saturday, and nightly floodlighting of Britannia Royal Naval College.

East Prawle
The Prawle Fair is running on the Green on Saturday 4th June, with activities including boat rides, train rides, maypole dancing, fancy dress, a greasy pole, fancy dress and cream teas. There will be live music in the Pigs Nose Inn in the evening.

Saturday 4th June: Tea Party at Kingswear Village Hall for senior citizens.

Thursday 2nd June: Bell ringing, lantern procession from school to the beacon and beacon lit in the field at the top of Mill Lane.
Friday 3rd June: Community Thanksgiving Service and vintage tea party at the Green Dragon.
Saturday 4th June: Community party in the Stoke Fleming Recreation Ground, with a full bar, hog roast and food truck as well as live streaming of the party of Buckingham Palace.
Sunday 5th June: 1950s picnic in the park with live music and dancing, prizes for the best 50s outfits, a classic car display, games and live streaming of the Buckingham Palace's jubilee events.
