Earlier today, Anthony took part in a Westminster Hall debate on sexual exploitation and abuse.
Sexual exploitation and abuse by aid workers is an under-reported problem which must be rectified. As Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on the Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict, Anthony believes there is a way in which we can end the culture of impunity and tackle sexual abuse in crises around the world. We need radical action to ensure that perpetrators are unable to escape justice anywhere across the world.
Anthony says, "The UK should create a new international body that documents crimes, supports survivors and helps launch prosecutions. We can reassure people that the UK is still a force for good and that we will not shirk our international responsibilities."
