I will be leading a debate in the House of Commons which focusses on the very important subject of Potholes and Highways Maintenance. During this debate, I will be highlighting the issues we are facing in the South West as well as offering some solutions, taking inspiration from other countries.
This debate was due to take place on Wednesday 24th April, but has unfortunately been postponed due to parliamentary business.
I have received a huge number of responses to my survey on this important issue, so thank all those who have already provided feedback. I am pleased this will allow me more time to collate and analyse the responses, and will share the new date for the debate once this has been confirmed.
I would be interested to hear from as many South Devon residents as possible about their experiences with potholes. I may refer to individual cases during the debate, but will not mention residents by name.
