Coronavirus: Changes from the 22nd September

On 22 September, the government announced new measures to suppress the virus.

Some of these new restrictions will be set out in the law and guidance. The police and other enforcement officers are able to issue penalties to those that don’t comply with law.

Latest national guidance on Test and Trace

There is now very high demand for coronavirus tests and it is vital we test people with symptoms to help stop the spread of the virus.  
 
If you have COVID-19 symptoms, you must get a test.  
 
If you don’t have symptoms, don’t get a test.  
 

Torbay Prostate Support Association

Prostate cancer is the most common diagnosed cancer in the UK (despite there being no national screening programme).  Also more men die of Prostate Cancer than women do of Breast Cancer.

Early diagnosis has to be the key to ensuring that men have a better survival rate.

Green Recovery Challenge Fund

The National Lottery Heritage Fund in Partnership with DEFRA has launched the ‘Green Recovery Challenge Fund worth £40m.

The fund has been put in place to create thousands of jobs while protecting our natural environment and wildlife.
