Last week I hosted the fourth and final open meeting with South West Water representatives, this time in Dartmouth.
As well as discussing recent pollution incidents, questions to the team also focused on infrastructure, dividend payments, agriculture, bathing water status and the water company’s work to reduce blockages.
I will be continuing to encourage engagement between SWW and local communities, to ensure the company is held to account and residents are able to have their say. A great deal of work has already been done to improve water quality, but ever there is more to do so I will keep pushing.
Thanks to all those who have attended my open meetings, and to the SWW team.
