Food security is a matter of increasing importance. We have already legislated to ensure that the Secretary of State for Farming reports to the House of Commons on Food security, but we must now reassure farmers that we are not just supporting them to enhance biodiversity but also produce food.
We have the space on land and sea to do so and we should make use of it!
