I was pleased to join Jerome Mayhew MP for Broadland with Santander and Twinkl to discuss financial literacy in schools.
We can and should explore ways in which we can help young people have a better grasp of financial matters. From understanding the basics about money to learning about pensions, ISAs and interest rates, it is in our interest to start early and create a financially literate generation.
I will be working with Jerome and others to push this issue both through the Treasury and within the Department for Education.
