Organisations are once again able to apply for National Lottery Grants for Heritage to support their heritage projects. Grants of between £3,000 and £5 million are available, with priority given to projects that will strengthen the sector.

Heritage organisations are asked to focus on high priority outcomes that demonstrate the value of heritage to our national life and will help drive the UK’s wider recovery from Covid-19. These outcomes include boosting local economies, encouraging job creation and skill development, supporting wellbeing, improving the resilience of heritage organisations and ensuring heritage plays a part in creating better places to live, work and visit.

The Heritage Fund has offered emergency support to organisations since March 2020, providing double the usual amount of funding as well as offering expertise and advice on adapting to the pandemic.
