The Government has announced £4.4 million of extra investment in our National Parks, with Dartmoor National Park set to receive £440k.
This funding recognises the vital role National Parks play in protecting our wildlife and environment while supporting the tourism sector.
All ten of England's National Park Authorities will receive an equal share, supporting access and engagement programmes that are helping to conserve these protected landscapes for future generations.
The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs has also extended the Farming in Protected Landscapes scheme until March 2025 to continue supporting custodianship of our natural heritage.
