The Dartmoor Way is a new waymarked walking route around Dartmoor National Park, created by the Ramblers and a dedicated community group. The route is split into ten sections of between 8 miles and 12.8 miles, plus two sections which form the High Moor Link between Buckfast and Tavistock.
To celebrate the official launch of the Dartmoor Way walking route, a long weekend of guided walks will be run on Saturday 30th April, Sunday 1st May and Monday 2nd May. Members from the various Ramblers and walking groups that are based around Darmoor will be leading these walks which will follow sections of the route. A variety of walking distances & terrains will be offered to suit a range of walking abilities, plus a family cycle ride.
